  3. what does a penta spell do or whatever never heard of it. Also Jihan is such a dumbass i mean why not luck the postitives outway the negative.

Plus better items and double the amount if he got say 1000 potions and we know that potions sell for alot in the abyss. What is the downside in all honesty the wisdom is okay but look what happened stamina is decreasing (well not anymore cause he spent all day doing that)regardless this isnt good i mean he should have put alot more into wisdom luck and or agility to help him run from fights.

BTW i am seriously curious on what happens if he only levels up WISDOM from now on what possible perks are there. I am asking this question cause well luck is something we might never know...Sadly which sucks cause i need to know!!!

    1. Pentax spell is simply combining 5 spells. In the past he could use quad spells combining 4. It would be great if he added points elsewhere, but he feels adding more intelligence and wisdom is the best way to go. Since his spells strength relies on intelligence and wisdom helps Mp recovery . We can only wait and see if he adds points elsewhere in the future .

    2. Luck is basically a dice roll. The greater the luck value the more common the occurrence of a random positive outcome. It's the possibility of something occurring that either would not have occurred normally or something having a bigger outcome.

Example 1: You're about to be hit by a car and won't be able to react in time to save yourself. Along comes a bus and crashes into of the car. You're safe.

Example 2: You're attacking something with a missile. If the missile hits, it'll do moderate surface damage. The missile, by random chance, ends up hitting an minimally exposed weak point and completely destroys the target.

Look at Fallout 4 for an understanding on Luck.

      https://youtu.be/Bke9wvob8Ls

As valuable as this would be in reality, it makes for a boring story. Furthermore, even if you have strong luck, if you lack some form of fundamental strength (a way to defend yourself) luck can only help you so much against stronger enemies. Jihan can take out the trash and deal with some mildly strong opponents, but he basically needs to reach God Tier Harem King level of strength to avoid people hunting him for the rest of his life.

What he needs right now is gear. He's got an earring to help with mana regen and a noob wand/staff. He has a crafting skill. Either he needs to start crafting some better gear, possibly work towards sets, or just craft a bunch of valuable stuff to put on the market and buy better gear.

If he were actually in a game right now, he'd be a high level character running around naked with only one piece of jewelry and a starter weapon.

    3. the thing is...his stats are linear(1 status point means 1 point can be added into any stat no matter how large the number), status strength is linear (500 int is twice as strong as 250, I think?); however, the bonus skills are rather exponential in terms of effectiveness. He set it that way for faster growth.

To make it simple, think about this:
If you were a wizard, what stat would you focus first while level-ing? On my part, I would first focus on magic attack and cast time reduction before going for movement or for toughness since I could add them when I reach a certain level. I would level slow if I focus on defense before damage since the time it'd take to kill monsters will be longer.

      Level 1 ~ 90: magic attack
      Level 91~99: defense

in actuality, his most broken function is his acquisition of skills and the way he could level them up. He doesn't need skill points to learn skills, he just needs to have what the skill requires. He could level them up by simply using them or reaching a certain requirement. Since using most skills need mana points, investing on int and wisdom is the best bet to level the skills up. It's totally broken since he does not have to think about a skill build where he'd have to allocate skill points wisely--- like most games. His logic is just:
      is this skill useful?
      can this skill be learned?
      are there no/little/bearable side-effect?
      yes? then learn the skill.

In the future, I'm guessing he'd have too much buff-skills and summon skills that he'd use some sort of a "macro" where he'd just say "cast magical buffs, cast defensive buffs, cast strengthening buffs, summon elementals and golems" or maybe just "buffs and summon!"

      yeah, he's totally broken.

as for luck, it's a good stat to invest on, but in thi manhwa's scenario, I don't think there's a maximum stat point. E.g. luck is kinda like a stat that gives you a "chance" of dealing let's say... 50% more damage. But think of the latest skill that he got...+100% magic damage. lmao. broken. 50% faster cast time, and less consumption. lmao. it's way better than luck XD The "game" he's based on is just a totally broken game. No level cap, no status point cap, just...skill level cap XD

  6. With any luck his new hunting ground will be against Wizards or Witch monsters. Then he'll get gear for his class instead of just stuff to sell.

  7. Just putting it out there for everyone, this website http://www.mangadeep.com/the-gamer/186/01/ already has 185, 186 raw. I think they'll even get 187 later today. The pages are a real mess though. That aside, thanks again for the weekly chapters. Really appreciate it.

  8. You know thinking about it his master said that his MP Growth was ridiculous because he is in the top 200. Now this guy litterally just put 66 more points into WIS which i mean imagine the amount of mana flowing within him.

Jihan has to be in the top 100 because of that he did say that he gains 3000MP just by doing nothing but well breathing. Which is just unfair funny as hell but yeah those poor mages who trained i feel sorry. So how much would he be able to gain at a time now.

If he concentrates on gaining mana like he did some odd chapters back then the dude could make it to number 1 in less then a few days or at least the top 10. People who are good at math crunch them numbers and tell us how much mana this man get get. (oh fuck me forgot about items those poor mages and fighters jeez)

    1. i don't think so, power level for top 100 is rising exponentially,, if jihan just grinding alone, he need years to be a top ten...
he need someone or something to train him more...

      Delete
    2. He just did a 50 day non-stop grind in one normal hour. If he finds a method for higher level farming/grinding then it's not going to be years. Months is more likely. The author could do a mini time skip of days or weeks. We used to see Jihan learning and creating spells/skills. Now the author just springs them on us. Very likely that after a few chapters that we'll see the story get pushed along and randoms challenge him.

    3. As far as mp Regeneration, I'm guessing he has at least 25k since he talked about recovering 3k just by breathing (3k per minute at 12% regen is 25k), and depending on whether or not the stat bonus skills stack or not, he has 400% of 10% Regeneration. This would mean he now has 40% mana Regeneration one way (unless the author is insane and did a pure stack as in (10 + 100%) + 300% which would be 80% Regeneration), and using ~25k as an example, that would be 10k mp every minute. However, on top of that, he has several skills reducing mp cost of all skills. I ran a calc on the skills I know he has and a 100 mp skill would only cost about 11.34 mp if the skills stack.

      Delete
    4. also he has some spellcasttime reduce skills, with his mp and mp regen he can do reeaaallly epic spell spamming with mid and highrate spells. he should also learn some space/area creating spells like wide area sealing or buffs and debuffs area like the clans have for training.
but even with all his power he has no experience of the abyss, so i think the author will make this to his weak point

  9. thx for translating this fast again. that was an awesome chapter and i like the outcome that to much differents btw. magic and stamina will hurt his body. it really makes sence

  10. Thanks for the update Sneaky Sama! It is awesome that too much munchkin minmax on his own body could do that, always love that trope of too much power cannot be contained in a weak body - like Xerath on League of Legends. And Jee Han time to up your luck. You Can Never Go Wrong With Luck

  11. anyone who suggests to push the luck stat clearly never played a game with the luck stat. To play relying on luck doesnt work out.. Its fun but you wont finish the game that way!

    1. If he concentrates on raising luck now that he has very high magic he can obtain super rare drops from his boss fights, and some games give a lot of bonus to creating super high lvl rare items with high luck, not to mention critical hits have x3 bigger damage.

  15. YESS! Back to their root, endless grinding skill :D

    ReplyDelete
  16. fun fact he used only 84 in intelligence and 60 in wisdom. the other 16 points he had vanished. he gained these 16 pints now throughhis passive skills but not spending his points. so 16 points have disappeared by mistake :)

    1. Disnt you see he put too mich points in VIT (stamina) to his body that couldnt handle that magic within it

      Delete
    2. It was 53 now after he did it becomes 116

      Delete
    3. he gained all these points through grinding for 50 days. not by spending points

      Delete
  17. he's gained several magnitudes of power and defense in this one chapter from those 3 new skills

skill stuff: 100% more damage for spells, 50% less cast time for spells, 80% less mana used per spell, 300% mp recovery, penta spell, and 300% more magic defense

2x damage + 2x less cooldown + about 25% more intelligence means 5x more maximum damage per second

5x less mana used per spell + 4x mana regen + 3x wisdom (mana regen) means he can sustain 60x more magic spells than he could before. (Spam magic nukes or something?)

and let's not forget penta spell which allows him to add another spell onto his current spell combos which could easily make his current spell combos several times more powerful than before.

4x more magic defense combined with 4x mana regen also means he can sustain 16x more magic damage than before. (His mana drains first when he takes damage)

  21. For everyone saying luck isn't useful in games that use it I suggest playing Morrowind cause that damn Bosmer in Mournhold with his freaking luck amulet is one of the hardest damn NPC's in the game to kill cause he just dodges everything and reflects almost all spells, even using a shit-ton of summons to try and kill him does jack. I literally select luck as one of my 3 attribute's I can increase every level just to kill that jackass.

    1. Definitely agree with you on this one and playing a Luck Assassin on Ragnarok Online basically lets you crit, dodge and get more items than usual. Luck for OP

  24. Man. He's really going about things the wrong way. Of course, he has to level himself up. However, if his guild won't protect him, he should form his own guild. He could do this either by creating one from scratch or taking over a mid sized one through bribery, force, or both. He then levels up each member of the guild to 100, making sure they have a diverse array of skills. He only then needs to create some form of generic teleportation or summoning spell. At that point, he then has an army to call into battle on demand. His guild could also quickly become the richest guild in existence since hundreds of members could be fighting in dungeons at the same time. Increase their luck skill level to 100 and they would literally become an item farm way beyond even what the gamer is now.

Next, it's utterly ridiculous that he said last chapter that he doesn't win through advanced spells, but focuses on dominating with overwhelming magic power, as in strength and quantity. That is so absurdly stupid, I don't know what to say. His opponents are all using advanced spells and techniques. And his anus was saved a couple of times by only the skin off his ass cheeks. The haxness of spells is a major factor in any fantasy game. His last opponent just demonstrated that haxness will allow scrubs to compete with the big dogs. His own ability should've already taught him this essential fact. He's so dangerous, not because of his magic strength, but because of his totally hax gamer's ability. Teleport, life drain, mana drain, absorption, and damage reflection are all skills I've had in various games. He needs more hax spells than he currently has.

He also needs to increase his physical stats. I recall massively increasing physical stats even as a mage in Morrowind. I could run away so fast and later fly away so fast any opponent I couldn't fight couldn't catch me. Not to mention, if you can move your whole body faster than your opponent can blink, you can kill him physically before he can cast a spell. If he doesn't want to spend the points, he has or can create new spells that will do the same thing. They just need to be much stronger. He also needs a crafting skills. Wasn't he able to create brand new skills just by trying something different? If he could get rare materials from drops with high luck and then make a crafting skill up to 100 or whatever, he could craft items even better than his drops.

Finally, why in hell doesn't he train his dungeon creation ability by creating more and different dungeons? I thought his dungeon ability had a level too? Couldn't he just train that and learn to create stronger dungeons with experience?
